Momentum Social Director and motorsport extraordinaire Alex Wood, also spent a career in agency land, working alongside Jake on a plethora of marketing and PR projects. During which time, Alex was fortunate enough to delve into a career working with multiple automotive and motorsport clients.
A regular media attendee of the British Touring Car Championship, among other calendar events, Alex is well known and well liked in the paddock. Furthermore, years of successful networking with teams, drivers and sponsors adds a unique quality to the Momentum Social contact list. Furthermore, it prompted Alex to launch his own channel and blog ‘Life in Pole Position’.
Expected to reach 10,000 Instagram followers by the end of the year. Alex’s channel is already one of the largest in the BTCC. He’s recognised in the paddock regularly after appearances on the podium handing trophies to drivers. Not to mention the regular face time he receives during ITV coverage of race weekends.
Alex continues to grow his motorsport fan base, alongside Momentum. It’s a powerful tool, which not only grants us access to the grid, but also to teams and drivers from across the industry. Furthermore, it’s a new type of influencing that proves Momentum Social strategy can be tailored to fit multiple requirements.
