British F4 – taking pole position in the eSports Race world!
As sports all around the world continue to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, British F4 Championship confirmed its first foray into online sim-racing. Looking no further than the Momentum team to help with digital marketing the activation.
The team helped promote the British iRacing Trophy with a combination of creative, photography and videography support. Earning recognition around the virtual paddock with Championship Promoter Sam Roach saying “Having the races live-streamed provides some much-needed entertainment for the fans, and my thanks go to Momentum Social for their help in putting this together.”
As part of the creative support offered to the championship, Momentum developed a suite of social media templates. Including winners graphics, timetables, race results and championship standings. Giving the championship a consistent look and tone-of-voice on digital marketing platforms, helping grow the channels.
Much like our trackside photography in real-world championships, the team is equally equipped to provide gripping action shots in the virtual world. As such we were able to sit trackside during the races, capturing all the excitement as it happened. Providing the championship with a series of images within minutes after each race had finished.
Similarly to photography, Momentum provided a highlights showreel from each of the race weekends. Reviewing the full race replays to find the most important manoeuvres, at every angle imaginable. Giving the audience an even more immersible experience that is hardly possible for real-world racing.
