Momentum delivers videography at the FIA Macau Grand Prix
Following a successful season of videography for our motorsport clients, Momentum Social was invited to join the FIA in Macau; aiming to captivate global audiences for the 65th running of the Macau Grand Prix. MPA Creative enlisted the help of Momentum Social to activate the FIA GT World Cup and FIA Formula 3 World Cup.
Working at such a prestigious event that has seen future Formula 1 stars rise to glory, for the governing body of the sport, naturally means that only the highest quality would suffice.

Exclusive FIA content
Employing the usual tactics to find exclusive content. The Momentum team quickly got to work forging key relationships with drivers and teams in both paddocks. In order to ensure insightful one-to-one interviews could be provided to keep fans updated following each session. First, double Macau Grand Prix winner Dan Ticktum. Next, reigning European Formula 3 Champion Mick Schumacher and finally the King of Macau himself, Edoardo Mortara. The team successfully ensured that each driver felt comfortable in front of the camera. Moreover, were able to provide the relaxed behind-the-scenes content that fans have come to love from the Momentum Social offering.
Innovation at Macau
After a busy year, Momentum is always looking to offer fans something truly unique. Therefore, the team worked hard to successfully place it’s 360-degree camera in the Mercedes-AMG Team GruppeM Racing Mercedes AMG-GT3 of Mortara. Ultimately, allowing fans to experience the exceptionally tight and twisting streets of Macau in virtual reality; a first for the event in a GT car during open sessions. In addition to achieving over 40,000 views. Momentum were able to clearly demonstrate the immersive nature of its 360 camera, which truly engages fans across the world. As well as providing a previously unforeseen perspective on one of the world’s most demanding circuits.
Amassing close to 100,000 organic views over the four-day event simply from the teams daily highlight videos alone, Momentum successfully aided MPA Creative in promoting the Macau Grand Prix to fans worldwide.
