KwikFit’s 2019 BTCC Title Sponsorship gains Momentum…
Following Momentum’s success with Dunlop Tyres in the 2018 BTCC season; There was a major development in the BTCC. At the start of 2019, Dunlop renounced its headline sponsorship of the UK’s premier motorsport series, with the UK ‘s leading ‘fast-fit’ specialist KwikFit aptly taking their place. As a result, Momentum was chosen to support KwikFit in activating the BTCC for the forthcoming season.
A natural move for KwikFit
Together with the continued support for Dunlop as the official tyre supplier to the championship; KwikFit will take a leading role and becoming the hub for exclusive content within the BTCC paddock. Therefore, Momentum plans to increase it’s manpower during each weekend, allowing for higher quality and more capacity. Resulting in a stronger position for us in the motorsport industry and a championship we’re already well-ingrained in.
Autosport International 2019
Momentum joined the UK marketing team at Autosport International. As the inaugural activation for KwikFit as the 2019 BTCC title sponsor, it was vital to get the ball rolling. Additionally, it was important to begin engaging the social audience, in preparation for the gear change in content to come. Momentum collected video content, alongside live features and driver exclusives. As a result, KwikFit gave their audience a taste for what’s to come as we approach BTCC media day and the season launch at Brands Hatch.
